Content & Sources
Last reviewed July 13, 2026
We want our class materials to be clear, useful, and honest. This page explains how they are written, how we cite sources, and how often we review them.
How materials are written and reviewed
Lessons, handouts, and study aids are drafted in the voice of the volunteer instructor who teaches the class, then reviewed for accuracy and safety before publishing. Each course page lists its instructor; you can read their background on the instructorspage. High-value pages are reviewed on a roughly 90-day cycle and carry a “last reviewed” date so you can see how current they are.
How we cite sources
Where a class touches on facts, settings, or safety, we point to primary and widely trusted references — manufacturer documentation, encyclopedic overviews, and established hobby resources — rather than asking you to take our word for it. You will find those links in each course’s “Around the web” section on its materials page.
