What is Utah Community Learning?
Utah Community Learning is a community-education program in Utah County. It offers low-key, hands-on classes taught by local volunteer instructors — cooking, crafts, technology, and more — with an online home for each class where students find lessons, downloads, and a discussion board.

The program serves Utah County, Utah, with students from Orem, Provo, Lehi, American Fork, and the surrounding communities. Classes meet in the American Fork area, and every class also has an online page anyone in the valley can browse.
What classes are offered?
This session's classes include 3D Printing 101, Bulgogi & Beyond: Korean Home Cooking, and Beginner Crochet. New classes are added each session. You can see the current catalog on the Classes page.

How much do classes cost?
Class pages, lessons, and discussion boards are free to browse for anyone. Registration for a seat in a class is handled by the program office at the front desk or by phone.
Do I need to register to take a class?
Yes — to attend a class and post on its discussion board you register through the program office. Browsing the lessons, materials, and boards does not require an account.
Who can take classes?
Classes are for adults 18 and older, at all experience levels. Most classes are designed to be friendly to complete beginners; the class page notes the difficulty.
Can I take classes online?
Each class publishes its lessons, handouts, and study aids online, and most run an optional Zoom dial-in Q&A between meetings. In-person attendance is still the heart of each class, but the materials are available to everyone.
