Blake came to music through his ears. He grew up with his mom's piano in the front room and his dad singing bass, loud and mostly under everyone, in the ward choir. He never studied formally. What he has is years of showing up: stake choirs, a semester of a community vocal ensemble he audited, and a lot of nights figuring out why a chord did what it did. He sings second tenor. He moved to American Fork in 2023 for the community and is trying, on purpose now, to build some. He knows more music terminology than he probably should, and he'll teach you by ear because that's how he learned it.
