3D Printing 101 starting May 5 - anyone else signed up?

Isaiah AndersonApr 30, 5:14 AM

Isaiah here, live in Greenwood. Bought a printer last year, never actually learned it. Hoping this class fixes that. Is it evening classes? Trying to plan around the kids.

Isaiah same boat, kind of, mine's used and half unboxed 💀

Evening classes, yep, 7-8:30 I think. Bring that printer along, Isaiah, half the class is just troubleshooting. 👍 ~boyd

Boyd's right on the time, 7-8:30. And Kelton, half unboxed is a fine starting point, honestly better than mine was. My first print looked like melted candle wax because I never leveled the bed. Bring both printers, we'll get them running week one.

Jacob C., still-in-the-box is basically a rite of passage, mine sat like that a week too. Bring it unopened if you want, we'll do the whole build together week one.

Filament week already! Humidity's the one nobody warns you about.

Weston, you're not wrong. Learned that one the hard way with a spool that sat in the garage over a wet week and started stringing like crazy on every print after. Now I keep mine in a bin with silica packets, checked weekly. We'll cover storage Thursday. Bring your worst spool, we'll diagnose it live.
