Devin isn't a finance person and won't pretend to be. He got here because he was the one everybody in the family texted with the money question they were too embarrassed to say out loud. In his twenties he built up about eleven grand across three cards and spent two and a half years digging out, mostly by reading the boring version of how it all works instead of the Instagram version. He does marketing for a living, so he thinks about how numbers get framed all day, and he's a little allergic to how the credit industry frames things. He started teaching after walking his sister through her report. He likes organizing things, and this is an organized thing.
