Ashley came to photography through a spreadsheet. Back around 2018 she winced at a family-photo quote and decided she could learn the mechanics herself, so she bought a used DSLR off the classifieds and read the manual line by line. What surprised her was how much she liked the people part.
She's not a working photographer and she'll tell you that first. She shoots family, neighbors, the occasional headshot favor. What she's genuinely good at is organizing a room and getting nervous people to relax in front of a lens. She teaches this class the same way she runs a potluck signup: everybody has a job and nothing drifts.
