Anne will tell you in the first five minutes that she's not a trained actor. She got pulled into theater sideways in high school, tagging along so a friend didn't have to audition alone, and stuck around for the backstage-hallway feeling of strangers turning into a unit.
Since then it's been community productions when the timing worked, a couple of roadshows, and a stretch helping a youth theater group where she mostly ran lines with the scared kids in the corner. That's the real skill she brings: making a nervous person feel safe enough to try something dumb in front of others. With six kids and part-time work, teaching this is her way back in.
