Show me your junk drawer

Jacob BurtInstructorMay 9, 12:56 AM

Before we start designing anything, I want to know what problem you're actually trying to solve. Mine was a kitchen junk drawer that turned into a landfill, that's the whole reason I own a printer. Post a photo of whatever's bugging you at your house. Doesn't have to be pretty, just real.

Oh man, mine's the drill bit situation in the garage. Every size loose in a coffee can. Been meaning to print dividers for a year. This class might actually get me to do it 🤙 for sure 💪

Junk drawer's fine here, it's the garage bin of half-used velcro straps that's haunting me 🤙 🔥

velcro straps haunting you made me laugh way too hard braxton 😭 my garage problem is a filament spool i left uncovered and it soaked up humidity like a sponge, had to dry it out with rice for two days like it was a phone. printed a box for it too. box is 2mm too narrow. it mocks me daily

Justin, the 2mm mocking box is basically a rite of passage. Measure the spool diameter and width, add at least 3mm clearance on every side before you reprint. Also, seal the spool with silica packs going forward, humidity ruins filament fast. Post a photo of the offending box, I want to see it.
