Post your bracket or bin from this week

Jacob BurtInstructorMay 31, 3:44 AM

Homework was due Thursday. If you printed your bracket or bin, put a photo up here, doesn't matter if it's a little rough around the edges. I want to see the actual part, not a description of it. If it didn't print in time, tell me what happened, I'll help you sort it out before next class.

Jacob so this is actually my printer that's been dead since LAST YEAR. Slowed the first layer speed like you said Thursday and it just... worked. 0.2mm nozzle, FIRST LAYER barely stuck before, no more issues now. Bracket printed clean.

Isaiah, that's exactly the fix I was hoping would click for you. A printer sitting dead for a year and it turns out to be one number in the slicer, that's the whole hobby in a nutshell. First layer speed is the one setting people skip because it feels boring, but it's doing the most work in that first thirty seconds.

Post the bracket photo when you get a sec. I want it on the shelf next to my melted-candle boat as proof it gets better.
